Daniel McNamara Planning Solutions, trading as dmps, was established in 2002 to provide clients with clear, objective and responsive town planning and project management advice. The role of dmps is to provide advice to our clients on all aspects of town planning and property development, obtaining highest and best use outcomes for a site, in the shortest possible time.

dmps is a boutique town planning consultancy that provides exemplary service to a small clientele base, providing guidance and advice when making decisions regarding land use, without the distraction of being part of a large multi-disciplinary organisation with competing priorities. We strive to provide our clients with the highest possible standard of town planning and project management service, with all of our energies and resources focused on this single objective.

We assist clients to realise their project’s development potential by:

• Identifying and analysing opportunities and constraints limiting realisation of a site’s potential;
• Devising comprehensive and practical strategies, based upon a broad and wide ranging experience, to maximise yield whilst overcoming identified constraints; and
• Implementing adopted strategies with rigorous resource management, robust documentation and first class presentation, including expert evidence to the Land and Environment Court as required.

To achieve this, dmps employs a broad understanding of architecture, construction technologies and engineering practices, urban design, economics, ecology, traffic management, social impact assessment, landscape design and natural resources management.
